The Envid Teachers are made to provide answers to such questions. Engvid is a small but interesting city in Slovenia in Europe, it's what the name suggests.The children of this small town in Slovenia have been trying to teach themselves English with Duncan for some time now. The inhabitants of Engvid may look like they're living in a post-apocalyptic society, but the view out their windows always tell a different story. With the help of this small community they want to provide a home for their next generation so that they too can learn English.When the Envid Teachers first started to work with Duncan, he was afraid of letting the children loose into a foreign land that he thought they would soon return to. But as time went on and more children entered the group, he became more relaxed. He would ask some of the adults to help him teach them English. But as each child arrived he realized that the adults were no longer able to help him, which eventually led to a compromise. The children could still learn English with Duncan, they just had to share their English with him.There are various techniques of teaching English to children in this small town. Duncan uses some of his own theories about life, love and happiness. He teaches the children to understand that although we may be busy doing many things, if we focus on the positive things in our lives we will find them. It's much easier than having to think about the hard things. When children want to know more about Duncan and his theories, they must ask the adults.One technique that Duncan taught the children is English Reading. If you can speak the language and understand it, it doesn't matter how many words you can write or read. Engvid is what it means, it's a small town but there is little space for us to expand. People like D uncan found ways to make sure that we all meet.Duncan tells the children that everyone has something special about them and they must be encouraged to appreciate this special quality. This is where English Speaking Techniques come in. The children are placed in pairs so that one of them can speak English to the other and observe what happens. Another technique that Duncan used is the chat method. When Duncan becomes frustrated with the children's English, he invites them to chat with each other and watch the results on how they fare in the English speaking techniques.The children are encouraged to do their best in English. One way that the Envid Teachers encourage them is by having them build their English speaking skills one word at a time. As they progress, they are rewarded with prizes and certificates that will impress them even more.You don't have to worry if you're too young to learn English.
